In 2000, Owner and CEO, Alan Basta purchased a small
precision metal fabrication and a small machining company and merged them
into Scientific Machine
& Welding, Inc. in Austin, Texas.
Since that time, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction, SMW has
grown into one of the most
turnkey metal fabrication providers in central Texas. In addition to
custom stainless steel fabrication,
custom aluminum fabrication,
custom steel fabrication and
custom metal fabrications, our
products have expanded to include
cleanroom furniture, cleanroom
stands and machine pedestals,
stainless steel gas cylinder
carts, industrial
custom stainless steel cabinets, industrial
skids, fabricated machine bases
and frames,
ground support equipment and aircraft
tooling.
